I try to clean and merge typographic ornaments used on fr.wikisource to improve the quality of the books. These are ornaments from the same editor just sometimes poorly digitalised, with huges artefacts and low resolution. The PNG versions are often better because they have transparent background which is better to use with dark background for digital reader. And last argument, PNG are generally very much lighter for this kind of illustration so they allow very light ebooks. --M0tty (talk) 14:10, 27 April 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
